Computer launches e-Dzidzo

Computer hub came up with an interactive approach called e-Dzidzo. THis interactive e-learning platform launched on the 3rd of March 2015 at the Roman Catholic Jubille Hall.

The innovation is a open source learning experience for anyone who is a learner from pre-school to university and proffessional courses as well.

The platform enables interactivity between teachers and students regardless of geographical boundaries.


The 21st Century has made ICT become a pronounced feature in our day to day lives, however, people should also be empowered to see the challenges of technology.

Questions arise, particularly, towards content creation and its validation also. Since the idea is to make the information available to the public, it is of utmost importance to also take into consideration the weight of it.

According to one of the co-founders, Mwanyali, teachers and lecturers will be responsible for the content creation since they are allowed to join the platform for free. He added that, some students with exceptionally written essays and researches will be allowed to upload their works so that it will benefit the academic world.

How one access e-Dzidzo:

The platform will be available o both web and mobile versions so as to be convenient. Interested individuals will be able to create an account for free on the website: www.edzidzo.com

However those who want to access the content will the be asked to pay USD1 for a month. And it is absolutely free for teachers and lecturers as they are the content creators .
